The PEC ogive is a member of the canonical RCS target family and is perhaps one of the most difficult targets to measure. It’s low backscatter shape, propensity for target-mount interaction errors, and lack of flat surfaces challenge range background levels, operator skill, and signal processing capabilities. DSC offers ogive designs for a wide variety of measurement needs, including different ogive ratios, length, and construction techniques. Full-wave and physical optics RCS data are available based on electrical size.
